Peaches Christ Superstar Update

April 12th, 2010 · 4 Comments

Peaches Christ Superstar feat. Chilly Gonzales had an amazingly successful run at Hebbel Theater in Berlin on March 25th, 26th, and 27th. All nights were sold out, and German, British & French press followed the publics enthusiastic lead with colorful & glowing reports of the show.

Peaches now infamous ’twitter’ of  Hebbel Theater’s  initial attempts to gain permission for the run, that resulted in major newspapers worldwide  joining in the fight, has resulted in victory. Sir Tim Rice sent representatives to the 2nd night of the show; his reps were deeply impressed by Peaches and Gonzo’s performance, and sent a favorable report back to London.

As of April 9, 2010, Peaches got the official ‘thumbs-up’ via London (and Sir Time Rice- who later turned up in person to see it!!!) to show the play in theaters throughout Europe.

Peaches Concert Causes Volcanic Eruption

April 5th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Peaches Concert Causes Volcanic Eruption!

20th March, 2010. Reykjavik, Iceland. The sheer power of a Peaches concert in Reykjavik, Iceland is believed to have caused a 200 year dormant volcano to errupt.

The volcano, named Eyjafjallajökull, began its awakening just after midnight on March 20, 2010; minutes after Peaches took to the stage at NASA, a local Reykjavik club.

Excited locals informed us that they have been waiting six years for a Peaches concert, and close to 200 years for Eyjafjallajökull–which last errupted in 1821.

Reykjavik Fashion Festival organizer,  Nicolas Knowles described the concert given by Peaches was as ‘legandary’.

Peaches and crew attempted to leave Iceland by plane shortly after the concert, but all attempts were thwarted as Icelandic airspace was closed due to the volcanic eruption.

When asked if she was bothered by the cancellation of her flight back home, Peaches replied, “What can I say, Peaches and eruptions have always gone hand in hand.”
