Peaches flew out to Moscow’s ‘Afisha Picnic’ Festival to perform another of her renowned DJ/MC sets – bringing along her wicked dancers and a good dose of insanity to titillate the Russian crowd.
Luckily for us, a certain film director by the name of Kirril Vertyaev was on hand, shooting promotional videos for the festival. He contacted us recently to send us this beautifully shot live video of Peaches doin’ her thang!!
Peaches is soon to be tearing it up on stage with her fierce one-woman DJ/MC show as she announces a handful of new North American DJ spots in September!!
Here’s a little taste of the madness Peaches took to Cologne on the 1st of July when she performed her ‘DJ EXTRAVAGANZA’ as part of the Impulse Theater Festival. The wicked dancer-duo you see in the video is Ginger Synne & Killing Ira!!
Check out these W I L D pix shot by the fantastic Santiago Felipe at Peaches DJ/MC gig on the 26th May at Webster Hall, New York !!
Pure Carnage!!
Peaches had her two hot Australian dancers alongside her, bumpin n grindin n gettin up to goodness knows whatever else on stage - they were Agent Cleave & Jess Daly.
Thanks once again to Santiago Felipe for the amazing photos!!! Check out www.santiagofelipe.com to see more of his work.
Check out these aaaamazing pix sent into us by Berlin-based photographer Holger Talinski documenting the production of PEACHES DOES HERSELF, from the initial rehearsals to the final performance at the Hebbel Theater in May 2011!
You might have seen the poster for Peaches Does Herself which was also shot by Talinski. He was there to capture the cast and crew during weeks of meetings, rehearsals and installations.
recently we came across this video of Beyonce’s performance at the Billboard Award Ceremony – which inspired us to hunt through our video archive to bring you the cover of Berlin’s ‘Sex (I’m A)’, performed and produced by Peaches!!
This vid was made nearly 10 years ago!! And sure, she didn’t have no huge Billboard Awards budget back then, but here’s the punk rock approach!
Shary Boyle, who made the complete visual world using overhead projection, is an amazing and successful artist from Toronto.

Peaches took part in the Aktionstag on Prenzlauerbergs’s Kastanienallee in support of Stoppt K21 initiative, campaigning against the proposed re-developement of the Kastanienallee promenade.
Locals and business owners are opposed to new plans to narrow the Kastanienallee sidewalks in order to improve traffic on the street. Doing so would significantly damage the beauty of Kastanienallee- transforming it from a place of charming cafe’s and little shops into a busy street full of traffic.
The K21 project is an appeal to the District Office on behalf of the local community, voicing their opposition to the refurbishment plans.
Peaches performed a special free concert for the locals after she specifically asked to perform in support of her neighbourhood and to help to gather the 8000+ signatures needed to force a referendum on the issue. There were even a couple of unheard tracks there in the show – including ‘footsteps’ with Peaches ad-libing motivational lyrics about saving the ‘kiez’ [Berlin's 'hood'] .
Here you’ll find the petition (PDF) which you can download, get friends to sign and return to any of these places. There isn’t much time, so help spread the word to SAVE KASTANIENALLEE!!!
Did i think correct when i read under neath the youtube video “Mud” that the video represents the end of peaches , That there is not going to be any more Albums or songs released?
Please tell me i was wrong haha
I first listened to you when i was 9 , on a mix CD of my mums , Fuck the pain away mixed with wheres you head at , and its stuck with me since . Yeaa … i was a weird child , sex intrigued me …. But it was your voice , and the song its self , And the fact you were so outrageous compared to all the twats on tv .
Fucking excellent you are .
Please do keep it up , for the freaky people of the planet ;]
So you thought you’d seen all the videos for the ‘I Feel Cream’ album… well, have we got a surprise for you!!
Check out thisexclusive bonus videofor song ‘Mud‘! Directed by Melbourne-based artist Jasmin Tarasin and featuring the fantastic Barbie/Booby costume designed by Jess Daly!
Peaches met Jasmin last year when she was asked to perform in her video installation project: ‘Live: An intimate Video Study of the Art of Performing’. In ‘Live…’ over 20 renowned musicians were filmed performing a song of their choice in a stark and simple setting with no band, no staging, no light show – just their voice or instrument and the physical power of their delivery. Set on a loop, these projections were shown side-by-side on four large-scale screens.
And that wasn’t the end of the Peaches/Tarasin collaboration! Shortly after, Tarasin began work on the music video for ‘Mud’ – even digging out a huge pit with a tractor in order to film near-naked girls wrestling in the mud!!
After some extra shooting in Berlin earlier in February, Tarasin’s ‘Mud‘ is now complete! Here it is!
Last time round we caught up quickly with Balloon Maestro Sean Rooney in the run up to the premiere of Peaches Does Herself in Berlin.
We found Sean hard at work in a corner of the theater amidst a great heap of balloons, turning out massive set pieces in a frenzy.
You’ll have seen Sean ‘the wunderkind of the balloon world’ Rooney’s work before in the music video for Peaches’ song ‘More’. He created all the spectacular balloon props for the shoot – including the awesome balloon motorbike!!
Only a week to go until the eagerly anticipated re-run of Peaches Does Herself in Berlin!!
We dug out this little snippet from the Premiere last October – a short interview with our naked star Sandy Kane (and her “husband”), relating her fondness for the people of Berlin and the cast of Peaches Does Herself!
Pretty soon she’ll be back in town charming the pants off of the audience and crew!
We’re all super excited to have her back and just can’t wait for another lo-fi rendition of “only AA thinking XXX….”
After an amazing Sold-Out Four-Day run of PEACHES DOES HERSELF starring, written and directed by Peaches featuring Special Guests in October 2010, Peaches has announced the re-run of her autobiographical epic at the Hebbel Theater in Berlin!!!
After rave reviews and worldwide acclaim, Peaches is back with the 40-something cast members to perform the show for another 4 nights!!
The show will run from 4th until the 7th Mayat HAU 1, Stresemannstr. 29, 10963 Berlin
If you weren’t able to catch it last time round, be sure to get tickets here:
Last week Peaches was invited to give a small lecture to visiting students from New York University at the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin; sharing the experiences of her early years in theater studies and daycare, to becoming a performing musician.
Peaches spend two or three hours with the class, touching on everything from her first experiments in folk music to the Music & Arts program she developed for her kids class back in Toronto.
Here we’ve cut a small segment of the talk- where Peach was asked how she started off her in her career after university…
Tomorrow Peaches travels to Germany’s Baltic coast for a headline DJ spot at the truly unique L-Beach Festival; Europe’s biggest women’s indoor festival!!
And she won’t be going alone…
Peach is taking along a duo of special guest dancers GINGER SYNNE and KILLING IRA for an added dose of theatrics! Expect big flames and shooting sparks!!
Here’s a little preview of Ginger Synne in action!
We’re fast becoming overwhelmed with the huge of fan questions put to Peaches through her Fanbridge account (clocking as many as one thousand by now… ) and I can happily say that at last as we were able to sit her down (hey, you know how busy the lady is!) and bombard her for a good few minutes with questions from YOU the fans!
Remember, keep your questions coming in, keep them creative, and they will, eventually, get answered..
Check out these HOT new pics shot by Seattle-based photographer Angel Ceballos during an afternoon photoshoot in San Fransisco, midway through Peaches’ North American tour of Peaches Christ Superstar in December 2010.
You might have spotted Angel snapping away at a semi-clad Peaches in the first part of our mini-doc on the US leg of the tour, here’s the awesome result of that collaboration!!
For more info on the amazing Angel Ceballos check out her site HERE!
On Saturday March 5th, Peaches delivered the keynote address at the Utopia Festival debut at the W2 storyeum in Vancouver, to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day!
The Utopia Festival is daytime conference and evening showcase of women in electronic arts and digital culture, featuring readings, workshops and performances from ‘the largest line-up of women in electronic music in Western Canada’!
Peaches keynote was following by DJ set later in the evening. Tanya Tagaq, Isis Salam, Cris Derksen and Betti Forde were just a few of the others who performed that night!
Here’s a little snippet of the conference with some DJ scenes thrown in!
To our absolute delight we have received more fantastic video evidence of Peaches’ DJ shows down-under during late December last year!
Hitting up all the great festivals like The Falls, Southbound and Field Day from Melbourne to Tasmania to Sydney, Peaches delivered six pounding shows to the eager Aussie crowds.
Peaches TITillating show was supplemented by two dancers who joined the tour : Siân Reid & Jess Daly – the latter also being the one who created Peaches’ awesome Barbie/Boobie costume! Also appearing onstage was Anthony Babetown Cleave.
Many thanks to Bobby Virgona who shot all of the footage!
