recently we came across this video of Beyonce’s performance at the Billboard Award Ceremony – which inspired us to hunt through our video archive to bring you the cover of Berlin’s ‘Sex (I’m A)’, performed and produced by Peaches!!

This vid was made nearly 10 years ago!! And sure, she didn’t have no huge Billboard Awards budget back then, but here’s the punk rock approach!

Shary Boyle, who made the complete visual world using overhead projection, is an amazing and successful artist from Toronto.

MySpace Australia was the first to debut this hot video last week on Thurs- Jan 14th, coinciding with the beginning of Peaches NewZealand/Australian tour.

It took Peaches and crew an agonizing 4 days to get to Auckland. Plus the airline lost her costumes, resulting in Peaches having to do her first two shows naked!

Just kidding… but not about the naked part.

Luckily our favorite XXX singer hooked up with a local stylist who helped her shop for impromtu costumes.

“This video was the first one made for this album. It was filmed in April 2008 before the album even came out. A bunch of us (artists) all got these great spaces in an old building in Berlin Mitte. I had a fantastic studio space. There was an intimate 100 year old cinema in the building that was turned into a great underground dance club called Scala, and a large street level gallery also called Scala. Fubbi had the coolest space that used to be some kind of weird lab. It needed a lot of work but inspired the idea for this video, so we cleaned it up and used it as it was. ‘Relax’ is a somewhat spontaneous video that plays on a modern frankenstein theme with some Vanessa Beecroft aesthetics…”
